Outlaw Knitters (297/365)
I went to campus today, and was delighted to find that somebody had knitted the bike racks a glove:
Meanwhile, it was prettiest part of the day, sun-wise, on University Ave:

Pat-a-Cake, Cat-a-Cake (137/365)
Ok, so today me and my friend Liz made a cake with fondant figures. Here is our start on Winnie the Pooh holding a honey pot (to be finished tomorrow):
Then we started on today's cake, which you need to skim this - http://www.cakewrecks.com/2008/05/this-made-me-laugh-til-i-cried.html - to understand.
Read it? Great. Here is the start on the fireman:
This was our first time working with fondant ever, so I think it went alright:
Fire hydrant and inappropriately coloured hose:
There he is!
Complete!
Here are a the sketches we made:
and some rainy-day pictures from my walk home:

Hanging with the Brother (63/365)
HOW ADORABLE IS THIS DOG?
(so adorable!)
A bunch of pictures of my brother, who recently shaved off all his hair for no reason (*sigh*, men):
"So first I was like........"
"But then I was like"
(In case you are wondering, library insanity is heritable. True life. It's science and stuff.)
And what would the day be without randoms from around town:
On the parking garage rail outside the hospital. Seriously?
Awwwwwwww, love:
And a special photo cred to my brother for taking this hilarious pic:

Polarize Me? (50/365)
Especially for Scott, I shot some polarizer comparisons today:
I spent the rest of the day at the library, and was there are the sun went down. Here is the view from the top floor:
Then I headed over to the OTHER library, snapping some bike pics in the fading light:
Some more pictures of the books I should probably be reading:
"Study, it is your calling" - its like the stacks are funneling me to my study carrel:
