Puttering Around (15/365)

Down at the river at sundown:

My friend was showing me the boathouse:

And a night shot from on the way home:

Belated Update (14/365)

toSo I was too tired to post these yesterday, but these are the January 31st shots. We broke out my friend's old zoo figurines:

Soon we had them attacking her word monument figurines:

Then we took the dog for a walk. It was cold:

Paper. Lots of it. (13/365)

So I'm staying with my friend for a few days and her younger brother is a fashion-photographer-to-be, so we spent most of today helping set up his shoot. So I have literally 82 pictures I want to add up here, but I'll just pick my favorites for now and maybe add more tomorrow.

Obviously all the ideas for this shoot and the putting together of this belong to Brandon Mercer, and my pictures are kind of like a badly done "making of" featurette.

The theme was "Paper":

This is his model, Izzy Storm, surrounded by the paper chains we made:

My friend and the chains, much amused by her current status as a "slave to fashion":

Her other younger brother. I liked the spinning headphones:

Izzy all dressed up with her hair and makeup in place:

Messing around setting up the set/camera/lights:

Setting up the cranes and chains around Izzy:

A over contrasted picture of the man himself at work:

.....and then we went cosmic bowling (kind of). :D

Planes, Trains and Automobiles (12/365)

So I am visiting a friend south of the border this weekend and thus today was all travelling. all of the pictures here were taken with my cheap camera I take out to clubs etc, so they are TERRIBLE quality, but whatever. First I took a train:

Somebody had written "Lave-Moi" (French for "Wash Me") on the train's dirty window. I was entertained, but it was hard to get a good picture because people were sitting in front of it (you can see one reflected in the window...spooooooky):

Then I puttered around the city for a bit as the sun was setting on the sky scrappers:

Then I flew in the TINIEST plane ever:

We went over some city, not sure which one:

I found this in the terminal, thought it was interesting that they post that there. Then I saw the back wall. CAUTION LEVEL: Orange. Risk of top-lit foliage very high.
