Colour (140/365)

So before we left Niagara this morning I was taking pictures of roses:


I was TRYING to get a decent-contrast picture in B&W (with limited success - any suggestions?):


Which got me thinking about......


Colour! I was playing around with my coloured pencils on manual mode, trying to get a feel for what settings took the best shots of each colour. First, the spectrum:


This is, and I'm not exaggerating, less than half of them:


Browns:


Purples:


Greens:

Yellows:


Oranges:


Reds and pinks:


Blues:


Peaches:

    i've been playing a bit with B&W lately. You could consider applying a red or green filter when you convert (but not every program has this option).

    I've tried to edit your shot to get more contrast in! check my blog for the result. i hope it's closer to what you want.
